Immerse yourself in the full force of 130 watts (65 watts RMS) for gaming as you've never felt it before. Designed specifically for X-Box systems, the XG SSGS-500's five satellite speakers and dedicated subwoofer engulf a gamer in sound that overwhelms the senses. Hear every bone crack. Feel every explosion. Experience every wipeout. The powerful, ported subwoofer delivers deep bass audio effects so real you'll swear you've been bruised. And discrete, Dolby Digital-ready, five-speaker surround sound provides the winning edge, because you hear footsteps behind you--or slithering above.Five satellites with two drivers each (a 0.5-inch tweeter and a 3-inch midrange driver) offer a better frequency response and greater sense of realism than do single-driver satellites. The speakers receive 10 watts maximum each (5 watts RMS), and they're magnetically shielded, so you can safely put them on or near your computer monitor or television. Each satellite measures 3.5 by 6.25 by 5.5 inches.
The 80-watt max subwoofer (40 watts RMS) boasts a 6.5-inch long-throw driver housed in a bass-enhancing ported wood cabinet. It measures 14 by 7.5 by 12.75 inches. The supplied full-function remote control lets you adjust system volume and fine-tune an audio environment. The system comes with a user's manual, hookup guide, and all necessary mounting hardware, including THX-certified cables for cinema-quality gaming. Monster Cable covers the system with a one-year warranty.

Don't waste your time checking this out. This is truly a horrible buy, take my word. The sound is horrible. It sounds like someone put a metal box around it so you can't hear it well. Plus they charge too much for it. On my part, bring something better please.

Don?t break or lose the remote controller.
It?s the only way you can adjust the front, back and side speakers.
You can control the volume on the subwoofer and turn on/off the master switch on the back. But you can only do serious adjusting with the remote, which has very small buttons. Other than that it?s a great sounding system for this price range.

I recently bought these speakers for a finished attic with a nice tv. I intended to use these for gaming and they were of the best quality you could expect. The sound was quite impressive. I was depressed though, when I found out that I could of gotten these speakers much cheaper. I paid $190 and I thought they were a great deal but then I found that you can get these for only $130!!! If you need relief from the mediocre TV speakers you are currently using, get these.
