the 174 SR surround speakers use an advanced dipole design intended to create a diffuse, involving sound field. like we said at the outset, home theater is supposed to bring you into the action taking place on the screen. As such, the surround speakers are intended to provide most of the background sound cues that create the atmosphere in each movie scene. Our sophisticated Frequency Enhanced dipoles "wash the walls" of your room with a diffuse, non-localizable soundfield that quickly draws you into the action,making them ideal for today's discrete digital 5.1 channel home theaters. the full range 174 SRs each include two of the same 4 inch CCMG drivers as the front speakers. Highs are delivered by dual three-quarter inch modified dome, fluid cooled tweeters with excellent dispersion characteristics. should you desire, the 174 SRs are optionally available in a matte white finish (at no additional expense) and they, like the LRs. include keyhole slots for easy wall hanging. An optional kit is also available to allow recessing the 174 SRs partially in a standard wall. Finally. powder coated black or white metal stands (at additional cost) are available for the LRs and SRs to facilitate placement.Similar Products
